Developers to Hold a Last-Minute Meeting on Monday July 29th at 5PM - Please Attend!

We received an email from project manager Sandy Brantley of Kirkman Engineering Friday July 26th at 4:30 PM about a neighborhood meeting to be held on Monday July 29th at 5:00 PM.

This meeting is regarding an alternative plan the developer must get approved since their project encroaches upon Environmentally Sensitive Areas (ESAs) within the 15 acres of land they propose to develop into dense multi-family housing.

The email states that meeting notices were sent out by mail. However, as of Sunday, July 28th, NONE of the neighbors we’ve reached out to, nor our own household, has received written notification of this meeting.

The Planning and Zoning (P&Z) meeting where this project will be presented by the developers is likely to happen soon. As we await scheduling by P&Z, NOW is the time to rally our community in opposition. Please make every effort to attend, if possible. A large turnout is important.
